Our turn-key service offers high-quality design and space planning - all tailored to your budget.

There is a common conception that the client’s choice is between a very standard-issue project led by a ‘conversion company’, or a high-design architect - led project which may cost the earth. We are different. Unlike many conversion companies we do not aim to sell a standard plan basement or loft. We take the needs of our clients and combine them with our experience and design skills to produce a practical and beautiful layout which considers the house as a whole - even if only a part of it is within our scope of works. We welcome feedback from our clients and work to produce a final scheme which the client can confidently accept with a full understanding of both the design and price of their project.

We frequently work with architects on larger projects, however the majority of our projects are designed and specified by our own team, in close consultation with the client.

Before the work begins, we will:

  1. help you define your key requirements
  2. discuss various cost options with you
  3. prepare plans and basic specifications

After an initial scoping out visit by our Projects Manger, the Design Director will visit you to discus the project in detail. They will ask you questions about your ideas for the project; what brought about the decision to undertake the work; how you currently use the property and how you would like to use it; and also about your plans for the future.

We take pride in our commitment to maximizing the potential of every project and consider ourselves to be exceptional in our ability to bring quality design and living space to our clients within their budget, all for a comparatively modest design management fee. We manage the pre-works processes including surveys and plans; planning permission; structural engineering and Party Wall Awards, right through to interior design, using professionals with special experience in the works proposed.

As a design and build specialist, our project plans are always drawn with budget figures in mind - you will not be led through months of costly planning only to discover the real cost of realising your plans are far beyond that expected. We are also experienced in taking on existing plans which have failed to deliver, economically re-developing them to the needs or budget of the client.
