Russell Brand To Build Luxury Swimming Pool At Home?
It’s possible that comedian Russell Brand will soon be looking into basement swimming pool design for his house in Henley-on-Thames in Oxford, after it was revealed by the Sun that the funny man will be spending £1 million on his six-bedroom house to install a swimming pool and cinema room.
Brand apparently bought the house in February this year, spending a cool £3.3 million on the thatched property nestled in the Oxfordshire countryside, and he’s now keen to expand his home, the Daily Mirror reports.
“Russell wants the best and can afford to buy it. He admits in private he likes the finer things in life. This house and its renovations, which will come to just under £1 million all in, reflect that,” a source close to the star told the Sun.
Swimming pools represent the height of luxury so if you really want your home to be as supremely comfortable as possible, this would be an excellent addition indeed. Furthermore, having either an indoor or an outdoor pool on site will boost the value of your property exponentially, so it’s certainly worth the investment.
Subterranean pools are certainly growing in popularity among homeowners in London and Oxford alike, as people seek to expand their living spaces while still keeping in line with restrictions placed on construction projects by local councils.
